La filosofia dell'espressione di Giorgio Colli

Giorgio Colli’s philosophy of expression
Abstract
Through the conception of "expression" — developed in La filosofia dell’espressione and in his posthumous works collected in La ragione errabonda — Giorgio Colli deals with the idea of representability, i.e. the suggestion of a condition that comes before language and let it possible a multiplicity of representations. This dimension implies a very pregnant theoretical question, which is developed in a very original and interesting way by Colli. His perspective can be related to the idea of a prelinguistic source of the linguistic meaningness, introduced, in different ways, by authors as Husserl or Heidegger, which were not near to Colli’s interests. So it could be possible to point out a limit of Colli’s theoretical setting: although he finds in the dialectic a dimension of logos, characterised by a sort of enrichment, he does not recognise autonomy of logos and claims a noumenical conception of the immediate near to Schopenauer’s one.
